The Fault In Our Stars


After meeting Augustus Waters, a fiery sixteen-year with a deep passion of love and romance, Hazel finds herself falling for a boy she meets at a cancer support group. Hazel Grace Lancaster or “Just Hazel” is the main character of the book, The Fault In Our Stars, Hazel plays as a sixteen-year old girl who is highly educated and has survived thyroid cancer that has taken half of her lungs. Because of the effects of the cancer she carries around an oxygen bag wherever she goes. John Green, the author of the book, gives us a romantic, heartbreaking, and a sweet love story.
Hazel first meets Augustus Waters at a cancer support group, she instantly is attracted to the mysterious teen that constantly watches her across the room. Augustus approaches Hazel after the support group and asks to watch a movie at his house. Augustus drives to his house and they are both interested into books. Hazel gives an offer to Augustus to read her favorite book, An Imperial Affliction that is about death and how it can take the life of others. Deep into the book Augustus and Hazel are deeply in love, and Augustus give Hazel the opportunity to go to Amsterdam to see the author of her favorite book.
But after a horrifying tragedy strike the couple, what will happen to their heartwarming relationship?
