F in Exams: The Very Best Totally Wrong Test Answers by Richard Benson
The book that I chose to read this summer was F in Exams: The Very Best Totally Wrong Test Answers, by Richard Benson. This book was basically filled with tests, midterms, finals, and exams for every subject, and answers that you probably wouldn't use when taking them. The genre of this book was humor, which was easy to tell when reading these answers. All the answers that students actually felt was the correct answer for the question. It took place in different classrooms, with subjects such as math, english, and chemistry. The only characters in the book were, though they were not named, the students that wrote the answers. This book was basically like a guide to what kind of answers you shouldn't write on a test.
When doing some research on the author, Richard Benson, I found a lot of different things. He is an author, journalist, and blogger; He started out working on Beverley Guardian, a newspaper in Yorkshire. The first book he made was titled The Farm: The Story of One Family and the English Countryside, was published by Hamish Hamilton in 2005. It was a number-one best-seller. Richard Benson also writes for a variety of newspapers and magazines. The theme of this book was about what you should never write on a test paper. That is some information I found out about this book and the author, Richard Benson.
While I was reading this book, I felt like this book was great. It had me waiting to see what subject was coming next. When there was a question on one page, I was ready to see what the answer would be on the next page. I thought that the book was very funny. If one of my peers were thinking of reading this book, I think that it would be a great idea. It was a combination of schoolwork, and something you can laugh at. It had answers you never would've guessed someone would even think someone would write. Overall, I think this was a great book and I would definetly recommend it to my peers.
