Million Dollar Throw by Mike Lupica
The book that I am writing about is Million-Dollar Throw by Mike Lupica. This book is, in a way, two genres. It is technically a fiction book, but it is all about modern sports and includes modern sports players.
This book takes place in New England, which is in the northeastern part of the United States near New York and Massachusetts. Nate Brodie, who is a quarterback, saved up five hundred dollars to buy an autographed football, which was signed by his hero Tom Brady. When going to buy this football, Nate found out about an opportunity of a lifetime that had presented itself to him.
Again, I really like this book. I think that this book is really good because it is not one hundred percent made up. This book uses modern day things and it excited me, and probably many other sports fans. This book is very exciting and it is good for all ages I think, but the reading level is closer to a middle school reading level so it might be harder for younger children. I would give this book nine and a half stars out of ten because it is so fun and it makes you never want to put the book down because you get sucked in with all the problems that Nate faces upon his journey.
