Summer of Cotton Candy by Debbie Viguie
Summer of Cotton Candy by Debbie Viguie is novel about a girl named Candy Thompson. This is a realistic-fiction novel about a girls Dad that makes her get a summer job and ends up working a cotton candy booth at “The Zone”. She starts too really like this guy who works there but another employee is just as interested. Not only is a romantic competition getting in her way. But also just working there is taking up all of her social time. Just when she thinks the is the worst Summer ever everything flips.
Overall I hated this book. I think it didn't have any major conflict and it was basically just a story about a girls summer adventures. The book might as well be called “Candy’s Summer Story” It was very boring and too me taught no lesson. This book had no meaning and was a total waste of my time.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes very boring books that have no meaning. I think the theme of this book id too not doubt things. Anything can happen. I could see how some people might be interested in this book. Personally I wasn't.
