Out Of My Mind by Sharon Draper
The book Out Of My Mind written by Sharon Draper.
Eleven year old Melody had a photographic mind. Her mind it like a video camera and it is always recording. They say their is no delete button. She has always been the smartest kid in the school but know one knows it. Most of the people that she meets and knows thinks that she isn't capable of learning. If only she could speak up and say what she wants to say, but she can't Melody can't walk she can't talk or write. Think of being stuck in your mind without being able to say a thing. Melody being stuck in her own mind is driving her out of her mind. Just until she discovers something that allows her to speak. That allows her to have a voice but she thinks that not everyone is ready to hear it.
This book is about an 11 year old girl named Melody. Melody can't speak and she is in a wheelchair. She is always very happy and is one of the smarties and most brilliant students in the school. She loves everyone she is so open minded at everything and loves everyone. All of the sudden she finds a new discovery that she thinks with change her life completely and that is something you will have to read the book to find out.
It is a very emotional book and a very happy book and a well interesting book and I think that it is a very good book for people with going into school and doesn't know what it will be like or if kids have like disabilities that they should read this because it shows that even though you have those it doesn't make life right it makes life possible.
