John Green has really hit outside the ballpark with The Fault in our Stars. This is a realistic fiction book. It’s an inspiring, and spirit lifting novel. “You gave me a forever within a number of days, and I’m grateful.” It’s a fabulous book, and I could not get enough of it. I didn't want to put it down.

Hazel Grace Lancaster meets the undeniably witty teenager, Augustus Waters; a perfect match is made. With the same personality, the also share something else. They share the 1 out of 1,000 chance of getting cancer, but Hazel is terminal and Gus has been recently cleared from the rare bone cancer called osteosarcoma. They take one heck of a journey, with happiness, and laughter, anger, confusion and sorrow, but it’s also filled with hope. Hazel Grace and Augustus make it through together.

I really enjoyed this novel. The whole idea of someone coming in to someone else’s life and changing it for the better, is what this book is all about. I read the first pages, with confusion. After about 45 pages, I was getting into the mood of the book. I remember reading this book, and gasping at a shocking part, but it was not very shocking, you could see it coming, but the way that John Green made it happen was just so sudden. My mouth would hang open for the next two to three pages. I cried throughout the book also. I couldn't help it, just small tears came down my cheeks and I could only stop it by putting the book down. The Fault in Our Stars is extraordinary, and I recommend it to everyone.
