Are you looking for the book to find out what had happened to the world in the Maze runner series? What the Flare is and how it had such a huge effect on the world? The prequel to the great book the Maze Runner was a huge disappointment. The Kill Order a dystopian novel by James Dashner wasn’t interesting to me. I would give it a two out of five stars. When I was looking for a book to read after finishing the Maze Runner I wanted to read the Kill Order to find out more about why WICKED was experimenting with these kids, and what had happened to the world. I found out what happened to the world, but the book just kept dragging on about something that James Dashner could have wrapped up. There were some confusing parts too. For example I didn’t understand when one of the main characters Trina forgets who her best friend is (Mark).

You don’t need to believe me you could read The Killer Order yourself and find out if you like it. The book didn’t contain the action I was looking for. I didn’t get the feeling you get when you read a good book when you feel like you’re a part of the book and you’re experiencing everything the characters are, and that's what I look for in a good book. The kill order just didn’t have it.
