Do you like books that are made for laughter but can also teach you something? Jeff Kinney answers this question in Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck. Jeff Kinney tells the story of a boy who fails to make decisions for himself and wanted the easy way out. Unlike the lazy protagonist, Jeff Kinney is an American game designer, cartoonist, producer, actor and a writer of children's books, including the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid series.

My main favorite part of the book is when Greg Heffley starts trying to take advantage of the so-called “Magic 8 Ball.” As time goes by, he still isn't doing good in his “decision-making phase.” The story contains a lesson as well: When you cheat, you don’t win as much as you would following the rules. This lesson is beneficial to people who think taking the easy way out will benefit them all the time.
The author definitely achieved his goal with witty lessons, entertaining phases and numerous scenes. Jeff Kinney shows why you shouldn't cheat in a very understanding way. I would recommend this book to anyone who needs entertainment as motivation because this book shows that you need to put in the effort to succeed.
