My favorite part in the book Hoops is when Lonnie Jackson father gave him a lesson to learn in his life. The lesson his father gave him is “Anybody that looks at a black guy and tells him that he can make it in basketball just because he is good either lying or dumb. This is an amazing novel, and I really suggest everyone to read it.

I would recommend the book Hoops to people who love just to read books that full with delightful mysterious scenes. Another reason why i would recommend this book to someone is because the characters in the book are interesting and entertaining. I would recommend the book is because the book is exciting and unpredictable. The illustration are unique. The story teaches a lesson that you think other students should learn too. The story reminded me of something you learn in class. Its an amazing novel, and i really suggest everyone to read it.
