The Fault in our Stars is an amazing book. Once I got it I read it in 2 days. The main Characters name is Hazel Grace Lancaster. She is suffering from lung cancer. At the beginning of the book her mother diagnoses her as depressed. Hazel is then forced to go to this support group for people who have/had cancer. She on the other hand would rather watch Americas Next Top Model. Augustus is a teenage boy who had cancer in his left leg. He has it amputated and is cancer free when he first meets Hazel. This is not a cancer book. This story is about two people that fell in love who just happen to have cancer.

John Green (the author) uses many inspirational quotes in the book that really make you think. He writes "There are infinite numbers between 0 and 1. There's .1 and .12 and .112 and an infinite collection of others. Of course, there is a bigger infinite set of numbers between 0 and 2, or between 0 and a million. Some infinities are bigger than other infinities.” ”I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity.” these quotes and many like that made me rethink everything.

This book made me laugh, cry, be surprised, cry, happy cry, and then cry again. I was so pulled in and thinking about the book that I am now using the quotes from it real life. I also break into tears everytime I see a christmas tree. I am now reading it again for the fourth time.

The Fault in our Stars is an amazing book. Everybody who wants their heart to fall in love with the characters, and have it explode should go and read it. When you do read the book even before you get to the first page you must say “It would be a privilege to my heart broken by you”.
