Have you ever read a book that was so riveting that you stayed up for hours trying to finish it? Well I have. “Stolen Children” is a fantastic read! It really leaves you hanging, you wouldn’t expect what you thought would happen! “Stolen Children” also is full of shocking surprises and unbelievable twists! Not only that, but the characters in this book are absolutely thrilling! This book presents a huge conflict/problem when two characters have been kidnapped from two massive men! What do you think will happen? How will it end? Will they ever get back home? Let’s look a little closer into “Stolen Children.”

Did you ever think that you could be kidnapped? Maybe just a little? Well Amy sure didn’t. In “Stolen Children” Amy was babysitting a little 3-year-old girl named Kendra, when suddenly two large men snuck into the house. It only took a little time to know that Amy and Kendra have been kidnapped. The two massive men took Amy and Kendra to a remote cabin in the woods. No one knew about this until the kidnappers sent the first video…. Then things started to get real.

This is a suspenseful read for anyone that loves action, mysteries, and adventure. But let me inform you that there is a lot of slow parts in “Stolen Children”. But during these slow parts the author foreshadows and really gets your brain thinking, “what will happen? Will she find a way out?” “Stolen Children” really gets you on the edge of your chair and that is a great quality about the book!

“Stolen Children” also has a great theme to it, “A person who takes risks, is more likely to succeed than fail.” I love this theme because it will tell kids to stand up and be who they/you are, and don’t think like someone else, stay bold and strong, and just stand up and be who you are. You should read “Stolen Children”, because it really shows all of these impacts in the story. by the end of “Stolen Children”, you will the love the book as much as I did.
