In James Patterson’s new novel, 12th of Never that was published in 2013, has an empathetic, astonishing, and shocking twist at the end of the book. Lindsay Boxer just gave birth about 3 months ago and is now wanting to go back to work. This is her first ever and probably only child she is going to have. Yuki Castellano is a lawyer fighting a case dealing with a murder. Boxer comes back to work and is now dealing with numerous murder cases.

My favorite character in the book was Lindsay. She was my favorite because she had gone back to work knowing her daughter had a disease. She seemed brave and courageous within her job and family.

In my opinion, I honestly did fall in love with the book. I have reread the book about 4 times, and still does not get boring. My favorite part of the book was the twist in the end. They had realized that one of their own has been helping the enemy the whole time.

I would recommend this book to anyone that likes crime investigating, plot-twists, or about law enforcement. This book has to be one of my favorite books, but I want to continue reading more of his books.
