Lord of the Flies by William Golding
I just read Lord of the Flies by William Golding; the book is about a plane full of boys’ crash landing on a deserted island. They start out at each other’s throats but soon realize that to survive they must work as a team. However not everybody is thrilled when others couldn’t care less about their survival.
The book starts out slowly, with little bits of action sprinkled in. Then later in the book tension rises between the characters causing action to flare up. Golding does a great job of showing how people act under pressure, from freaking out to escalating up to much more serious things.
Golding builds up an incredible story line; that is hard to follow at times. However as the storyline builds up so does the tension between characters, which in the ends breaks loose and devours the characters emotions causing them to go to their last resort.
I would definitely recommend this book to anybody, with its’ spine tingling adventure to its’ reliving ways of things turning out. This book is an amazing piece of art and it should be treasured by people over the world.
