I read the book Michael Vey and enjoyed it very much. It’s about a teenager who has had special powers since his birth. He can shock people by pulsing energy from his body and he glows at night. Since he was young he has hidden this power from everyone. One day he is kidnapped and taken by people who have powers just like him. I actually enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. It was funny, creative, and intense. Though I found the beginning of it to be boring I enjoyed the last part of it very much. I think the theme is sacrificing for others. Michael was tortured because he tried to help his friends and do what is right. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy science fiction or supernatural things.
