Divergent is an amazing book by Veronica Roth. It is the first of the Divergent series. It is about Beatrice from the Abnegation faction. The government split them up into different factions based on their reaction to the test which was created by the Erudite. When Beatrice takes the test she gets Divergent which is a very bad thing for her it means she could be killed for what she is. Divergent is when you can belong to many factions and this is considered a danger to the people of this dystopia. At the choosing ceremony she choses Dauntless. She goes through a very difficult initiation. She gets in a romance with one of the people who work with the initiates named Four.
