The book Maximum ride: Schools out forever by James Patterson continues is the second book in the series following a group of human-bird hybrid kids who are on the run from a evil scientist named Jeb and his assistant Ari.

The main flock consist of Maximum Ride, Fang, Iggy, Gasman, and nudge.
The kids are trying to stop Jeb and his sidekick Ari(who is a werewolf) from capturing them and sending them back to the lab where they were created, along the way Fang is injured after a fight against a pack of flying werewolves, and soon enough the Flock is discovered by the FBI and are taken in by a agent named Anne, then the kids are enrolled in a high school were they try to fit in as regular kids but don't succed that well when they discover that some of the teachers they are working for Jeb and Ari. During the reading I had come across Some "can't miss moments" like when Iggy May find out if he was truly created in the lab or was he kidnapped as a baby and given to the lab, and when it is discovered that an evil max dopplegangher is created by Jeb to fool the flock and lure them back to him. the symbol of this story is holding hands cause these kids have been on their own when they escaped and through all of the fight's they have had, plus some of the most tear-jerking moments that have brought them even closer together. I would rate this book 5 stars for the compelling trials that the kids have faced together as a family of their own and the fact that it is geared towards young teen's who are into these sci-fi action packed novels.
