When I first heard the title Gone I didn’t think it sounded like a good book, but then I read what the book was about and thought it might be a good book. When I read it I liked it instantly and wanted to read the other books. It has tons of twist and turns that leaves you wanting more.
Gone is about a fictional place called Peridido Beach and one day everyone 15 and up disappearing leaving only kids, and with the adults the internet and cell phone reception goes away leaving the kids to fend for themselves. There’s a solid barrier separating the kids and the unknown. Also, the kids start developing unknown powers that could be used for either good or bad. The main characters in the book are Sam Temple, Astrid Ellison and Caine Soren. At the very of the book Sam and Caine prove himself to be born leaders in this new world that they were living in.
Gone is an amazing book written by Michael Grant. I enjoyed it very much and the other books that he wrote too. I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys like adventure and action. There was no part that I thought was boring. I hope anyone else reads it enjoys it as much as I did because I definitely think it is a book worth reading
