In the book “A Living Nightmare” young boy, named Darren Shan, and he has it all. Until he and his friend get tickets to the Cirque Du Freak.

In the beginning of the book Darren has a wonderful life. He was an awesome soccer player, one of the best on the school team. One day at lunch the team was playing soccer. When it was time to go inside Darren’s best friend Steve showed their group a friends a wet and scrambled piece of paper. That’s where it went downhill.

My opinion of the book was that it was amazing. It was very hard to put down. I love how it goes on and on in a series of books.

In conclusion, this book was one of the best books I have read in my life. The author Darren Shan is a wonderful writer, and has astonishing talents.

If you like suspenseful novels you will love this one. Also, if you like a series of books you might like this one.
