Introduction:
No other book has ever grabbed my attention but, Lost Boy really did. I loved the book, it was awesome. It was exciting, sad, and very inspiring. Lost Boy is now my favorite book and I loved everything about it. I wish the author David Pelzer would make more books and this story.

Description and summary of main points
The book Lost Boy is about a boy named David and he gets beat every day. His alcoholic mother started beating him when he was 6 years old. His mother made him sleep in the garage on the floor. He had three other brothers and they were treated better then what he was. David got the leftovers of what the boys didn’t want to finish eating and if they ate all their food he would get a piece of bread or starve. Every night when his mom got drunk she would literally beat him in tell he was bloody or in tell he had multiply wounds. She beat him, burned him, and even cut him. His mother thought of him as an It, she never called him by his real name. His dad never stood up for him when his mother beat him. One day she got drunk and she forcibly put him arms over the open fire on top of the stove. She tried putting his whole body on top of it but she only got his arms. She burned him in tell he screamed and screamed and his skin was vanishing in the fire. David usually got in trouble a lot at school because he stole food every day. He stole the food because he barely got to eat. Finally, at the end of the book David gets token out of the house and gets put into foster homes.

Evaluation
Lost Boy is my favorite book now, and I could read it over and over. David Pelzer made it possible to grab my attention in the entire book. I honestly never thought I would read a book that I actually liked and Lost Boy I love.

Conclusion
I liked the book because it was exciting and sad.
