Harry Potter is a boy who has no idea what it is like in the real world. He was left on the doorstep of his aunt and uncle’s house so they could care for him after his parents died. Harry then thinks he’ll be part of a new family, but he thought wrong. Harry is then left to be a servant for the Dursley’s. He feeds them and cleans the house. On Dudley’s birthday(Harry’s pampered cousin), they decided to go to the zoo for another birthday present. With Dudley’s friend coming along, it will not be the same with all of them. Harry now has no idea what to expect now.







This book to me is a great idea about making friends and finding something out you didn’t know before. For example when Harry found out he was a wizard, he didn’t know what to think. He thought it was just a lie. But this part was my 2nd favorite scene from the book. The characters in the book are very brave and courageous in many scenes. Some examples are when Harry, Ron, and Hermione go and try to get the Sorcerers Stone from where the three headed dogs are. They are brave in this part because they are only 12 years old and they all go alone to find the stone. Now that is pretty brave don’t you think?





Harry Potter is a great book to read if you love mysteries and a good storyline behind it all. There are many situations in the book that involve happiness and sadness. Some parts are when Harry’s parents die and a happy part is when Harry made new friends when he didn’t have any friends yet. This book is also a series of books, so if you like the first book then you can read the rest of them. The other books also included mysterious things and witchcraft(all of them do).






Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone is a great book that everyone should read. The person who wrote this book was J.K Rowling and she is a British novelist. She writes other books such as “The Tales of Beedle the Bard’’, ‘’The Casual Vacancy”, and ‘’Muggles and Magic”. JK Rowling has many details and great ideas in her books that she writes. I would recommend Harry Potter to anyone who loves an adventure and action. Anyone who wants to read this book, will have a great time reading the book.
