At one moment, Savannah Trover’s life is going well. She has all you could ever hope for: a successful book writer, a wonderful marriage with Shaun, everything is going for her. Savannah has all but one thing, a stable relationship with her daughter, Jessie. While visiting the last stop on her tour, Savannah starts to fall into an illness. It’s just the flu, right? At least that’s what Savannah thought. After having the “flu” for about a week, Savannah feels worse than ever. She decides it’s time that she pay a visit to her family pediatrician. What Savannah thought was a simple check-up, turned into a horrible reality. A test of Savannah’s faith is put on the line. Before her surgery, she tries to renew her relationship with Christ, her husband, and her daughter. This book was very interesting, I couldn’t put it down. It was very suspenseful at moments. I will definitely re-read it again in the future.
