Introduction
The book Dragonwings was a marvelous book it surprised me a lot. I really enjoyed reading it, I think more teenagers should read it because it is like being there in the story. It’s one of those books that are so intense that it can give you chills down your back it’s not gory or anything like that it’s based in the late 1800 and the early 1900.
Description and summary of main points
Dragonwings is a story about a young Tang boy that leaves China and moves to America with his father. The boy is named Moonshadow , he has never met his father before and he is so excited but scared because is is going to have to work as a slave. This is going to be a new experience for him.
Evaluation
The book is so good that I cannot put it down. I just found out that Moonshadow father is a tall wise man and everyone respects him. But things turn at the end of the book ,Moonshadows cosine abuses him and then he tells his father Windrider (Moonshadow’s father) and he is really mad and he is out for blood .So Windrider goes to find his cosine to get his revenge for his son so he takes his sword and goes to the Tangs peoples town and murders him. I was so shocked . Then after they have to leave then they make friends with the Whitlaws they are sweet little family and they become friends and they live together. But then a earthquake hits and messes everything up so they have to leave the white woman’s home and they have to return to the Tangs peoples town.
Conclusion
They have to return to China they are reunited with their family and you can find out the rest.
Your final review
