The Outsiders is an excellent book, because it’s something that could happen. But, I hope no one has to go through this kind of torment.
The Outsiders is about a poor boy named Ponyboy, and his greaser friends. At first, it’s about the greasers vs. the rich kids. It gets serious when Ponyboy and Johnny Cade, Ponyboy’s bests friend gets jumped by the rich kids. The rich kids were trying to drown Ponyboy and were about to him. That’s not even the most shocking part. Johnny, who has never hurt anyone, pulls out his switchblade and kills Bob, the leader of the rich kids, to save Pony boy. So, Johnny and Ponyboy run from the cops because they’re afraid they’re going to be arrested. After all that, the book gets more and more interesting. I am a person who can’t stand to read. So, hopefully you understand, that if this book is perfect to me, then everyone should think it’s decent. This book has everything including comedy, action, and much much more. The only complaint I have is that I didn’t want the book to end.
Finally, the reason I think everyone should read this book instead of watching the movie is because the movie is not as interesting. I feel the book is perfect. I have nothing bad to say about this story. You should read this book because I guarantee you will be inspired by the message!
