This book shows a lot of interest on responibities and facing real reality. Everything happens for some apparent reason.

Every book has some type of setting in this case this one stairs In Washington D.C. and Virginia. The main character is Kenisha Lewis, she knows everything is not easy to take on and every little thing that hits her takes effect on her life. Kenisha once lived in Virginia with her mom and dad, by that kenisha got into a fight at HazelHurst Academy. On top of all that her parents divorced , her mom dies and she has to leave Virginia to move to Washington D.C. as Keisha’s I life goes on it gets worse and worse by each part from her predicament with her so called friend. Overall that she doesn’t want help when offered like why would you want to talk about negative things? Won’t it make you worse inside? She wants her old life back asking going back to HazeHurst but she realizes her dad and grandma are tight on money, Terrence, her boyfriend has secrets that you may be frightened to know about but he doesn’t explain much. Kenisha’s phone is receiving mysterious phone calls. Does she think Terrence is in the middle of this predicament? Where ever she goes drama follows. Why is this happening to Kenisha?

Books that can make you have visual things in your own way by the describing words. The orderly way the book was written you never know what would come next or it leads you through the whole book. The description from the events given you the great feeling to feel what they feel as in the character. The strengths of this book is that you can relate to certain things you’ve been through (text-to-self), you can understand the words, no going to get a dictionary to understand the whole text. I personally only read books that interest me in a way I can relate to and that can happen to bunches of people. Some people take the world as a joke not knowing anything could happen in a matter of a second. Weather you have a problem you could possibly learn it fro never doing it again or seeing someone else go through the same situation.

This book left me in total surprise by the ending. It definite is worth reading. There are more books that have similar issues or context I in it. I think the pure lesson is everybody goes through rough times and sometimes it takes longer to get over something you thought didn’t matter as it was made to see. I love this book’s mysterious ways and upcoming interest, having twists and gives interesting words to continue reading
