Penny from heaven is a book that I read in fifth grade and it was so good that I had to read it again in eighth grade.

Penny is the main character and she is a girl who just wants to know about her father. When she gets over her fear of asking her mother or her fathers side of the family, she never gets answers. Penny lost her father when she was a baby and never got to see him.

Penny's is curious about her father but is scared to ask anyone about him because she doesn't want to make anyone upset. Penny was like her father in so many ways that it made me sad when I was reading this book because not having a father in her life was making such a big impact.

Penny's mother also worked all day and penny barely got to see her mother. Penny loved her mother but they often argued with each other. Since penny didn't have a father and her mother was always working her mother's parents lived in the upper part of the house and stayed there to keep an eye on Penny.

Penny loved her grandparents very much but often argued with her grandmother over her fathers side of the family. Her grandmother never liked Penny's fathers side of the family. Penny’s grandmother didn't hide that she really didn't like them.

Penny also didn't really have any friends she just got to go places with her cousin. Her cousin was a little on the crazy side he always liked to do things that weren't aloud. Penny always tried to stop him but he would always persuade her to just come with him. In the end they always had a good time with each other.

All in all it makes a really big impact when you don't have a parent it makes an even bigger impact when you also don't get to see the other parent.
