As a reader that enjoys action, drama, and romance, I enjoyed reading the Suzanne Collin’s, The Hunger Games . I found it sad, but very detailed and i never wanted to put the book down. Collin describes Katniss as a strong independent girl from District 12 who cares and would do anything to keep her family together since her dad had died recently.

The plot, setting, and characters are very interesting. The way they are all force to enter in the games and fight for their lives when they are only from the ages of 12-18. I honestly believed the book was very sad and would fit into the genres of action, intense, romance, and drama.

In The Hunger Games, a teenager volunteers to participate in The Hunger Games instead of having her little sister Prim perform. While she is there to fight for her life she falls in “love” with a boy named Peeta also from the same district as Katniss. Katniss likes Peeta, but in the book she never actually falls in love with him, only to get sponsors to help her live during the games.

Collins imagination is bigger than ever. The Hunger Games is not the only book, but their is a series which I am looking forward to read. From what I heard The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and The Hunger Games: Mockingbird are suppose to be well written, filled with lots of drama and romance, and very descriptive

.
The romance in the book has now changed and it becomes into a love triangle between Katniss, Gale, her best friend, and Peeta. I have started to read Catching Fire and I am very interested in the book and I cannot wait to finish it and see what else Suzanne Collins has in store for me.
