Though the story for the book sounds odd, I found this novel extremely suspenseful. Throughout the novel, there is a lot of chatter about an antagonistic foe, known as rotters. Yet, the main character has never seen it; therefore, there is NO idea to what they might look like. It managed to always keep me wondering. The story is every bit as compelling as a Star Wars movie. So, in my opinion, this book is definitely worth a read.
