Narrated by both Carter and Sadie, this book is fantastic!

The Demon Days are here, and Sadie, Carter, and with the help of their cat, Muffin, have to save the world before Set destroys all of North America! This is the most action-packed book ever! If you don’t believe, you’re crazy!

Carter Kane is 14 years old, bi-racial, and travels all the time. That might sound cool, but he would rather go to school and have an education. His sister, Sadie, lives in England with their grandparents, who got to take Sadie, but not Carter. She looks completely different than Carter. She’s white, like her mom, has a British accent, and is kind of weird. Sadie’s cat, Muffin, is secretly the Egyptian Goddess of cats. Kind of interesting, I know.

This is definitely one of Riordan’s best books ever. How would you like it if you were a bi-racial boy who got to travel around the world? Or a bi-racial girl who lives in England and has a cat that turns into a goddess?
