Four Miles to Pinecone by Jon Hassler
“It all started the day school ended.” The book “Four Miles to Pinecone” takes place in Mn, and talks about tough situation with school and friends.
Thomas flunks English and decides to talk to his teacher Mr. Kerr. Mr. Kerr makes a deal with Thomas, Thomas must write a mature story and free of mechanical errors that is 47 pages long. Thomas takes the deal and tries his best on it, but his friend Mouse gets him in lots of trouble and distracts Thomas on his work. Will Thomas finish this story or will he flunk??
I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in MN. I think this book is a really good book, once you start reading you won't stop. I like the part in the story where Mouse break in Thomas's store. The lesson you should learn from this book is don't slack off in school and don't let friends get you in trouble. Read this book!
