Reading has always seemed boring to me and many also agree but the Cartel made me realize how books can be relatable and captivating for different people and how one right book can encourage reading and open up a new world of stories and ideas. This book has nonstop action violence gangs drugs and a romance story on the side catching the eye of most teenage readers.

In Miami Imagine the city streets, filled with the sounds of sirens and the scent of desperation. The authors bring to life the characters who are caught up in this dangerous world, each with their own motivations and desires. From the ruthless leaders of the cartel to the fearless enforcers, every character has a role to play in this story

Carter Diamond is a notorious drug criminal back in Flint but when he receives the news that his father  The leader of The Cartel he has never met passed away he is reluctant to attend his funeral in Miami little does he know his decision will change his life forever. Miamor is part of the famous hitman group “Murder Mamas” and when they receive a hit request to take out the son of the Former leader of The Cartel all hell breaks loose  it has you on the edge of your seat awaiting the next page to find out what is going to happen next.

The Cartel is directed towards the interests of young audiences with its violence drugs and sex which is which is a desire or an intriguing topic to many young adults or teenagers. I personally am a fan of this best-selling book the reason being it's constant action there isn't a page where you will feel bored or wanting to put the book down.
