Doritos (Poorly Written)
The Doritos Mix-Taco Explosion flavored chips had many of impressive qualities. They had a lot of flavor, and the shapes were pretty cool. There’s Spicy Nacho chips, Salsa 3D triangles, Sour Cream twists, and Taco Taquitos.
Everything tasted spot on. The sour cream tasted like sour cream, the salsa like salsa. The only problem found with them is the heavier, smaller stuff sinks to the bottom. The taco chips were mainly toward the bottom, as were the sour cream twists. There seemed to also be an uneven amount of things, Like two chips for every 3D triangle kind of thing.
The chips were very unevenly proportioned. Some people were probably hoping it would be an even enough proportion to put one of each together and “make a taco” kind of thing, but there just wasn’t enough of the sour cream and taco chips to really make it worth trying. Sure, the flavor is good, but there wasn’t enough chips. Had they made it more evenly proportioned, the chips would be 100% worth it.
The heavier, smaller stuff sunk to the bottom of the bag. You can’t really argue with physics. Gravity says that heavier stuff is gonna sink to the bottom. But, they could’ve done something to counteract it, such as put all the big chips on the bottom so the smaller stuff doesn’t have a chance to fall. You have to dig all the way to the bottom of the bag to get certain ones, only to get covered in Dorito dust. Either that, or you have to save the taco and sour cream flavors for the end, and that’s not very exciting.
In general, 5 out of 5 in flavor and 5 out of 5 in shapes. But 3 out of 5 in even distribution.
