I've always loved computers. In early childhood, I would spend days and nights looking at reviews and videos about computers before even owning one.

Having always dreamt of owning a computer but having a small budget, I came to understand a balance between performance and affordability. This balance is exactly what drew me to the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) while researching. Despite its age, the 1080 Ti still manages to hold its ground in today's competitive market.

Priced at $185, the 1080 Ti will have no problems running any game. Responsible for rendering images on your computer screen, the 1080 Ti will most certainly lower your optimum graphics quality, but you can still run AAA titles like Call of duty, Destiny 2, and Red Dead Redemption 2 with no problems.

Performance wise, the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti still holds ground in the competitive market of GPUs. While the newer GPUs like Nvidia's 30/40 series offer much higher performance, the price disparity might make the 1080 Ti an appealing choice for people looking for cheaper options.

Conversely, it's important to recognize that as technology advances, so do the demands of software and games. While the 1080 Ti can handle current games well, the future of programs and video games will push its limits. This will undoubtedly lead to lackluster performance as the years come.

Overall, the 1080 Ti has a balance between performance and cost. opting for affordability to budgeting consumers over competing in today's GPU market. Though it no longer stands at the pinnacle of technology, its reliability and affordability make it a consideration for enthusiasts and hobbyists alike.
