Small Town Coffee Shop
Every town has a coffee shop that everyone loves, whether that's between the variety of coffee they have, if they offer any food, and if the environment is welcoming and comfortable for customers. The coffee shop in Hartland, Wisconsin called Birch and Banyan.
They have a coffee special every month and three coffee specials every season, which are all unique. My favorite special they've had this fall is their Carmel Bourbon Chai because no other coffee shop has a flavor of coffee like this where I've been. I recommend this place due to the fact that they are fast at making coffee and they don't make you wait a long time like Starbucks. Birch and Banyan also make their coffee with love because I know the owner pours her heart into this business and succeeds at it.
Another special thing they do is all the bakery they offer are from other local small businesses. They also offer salads, sandwiches and wraps from Harvest Bread as well as from Beer Snobs. They also make their very own acai bowls and they have a variety of different ones you can choose from such as the Peanut Butter Acai Bowl, Mixed Berry one and you can even get creative yourself and make your own.
Inside their coffee shop there is a downstairs with a wide variety of seating and also a tiny room where you can reserve the room at a certain time to either study if you're in high school or have business meetings. They have an upstairs with more open seating and they also have this large room with a big table where you can reserve that room for a larger group of people.
I also have noticed them making miny upgrades in their cafe like adding glass cases for the bakery items and adding new merchandise to gain more profit. They added a brick wall to their cafe to add more character and to spice it up a bit.
