I Miss Being a Kid
I miss being a kid
Nobody would care if I pretended to be a squid
All I did in my childhood was run around and play
During the winter, I would ride without any worries on my sleigh
I did not need to fret about homework and grades
I even had time to go to arcades
Or pretend to be a mermaid with long golden hair
But all I can do is stare
At the amount of homework and studying I have to complete
I don’t have time to go trick or treating
I don’t have time to play games on my phone
All I can do is a loud grone
And accept that I have to grow up
My childhood is to be only be part of a memory and I have to become a mature grownup
