When I'm Gone
As I approach the twenty-sixth of May
And the lessons and learning near their end
I grin at the changes coming my way
As I choose the college I will attend
I await finding my future career
I feel the thrill of moving somewhere new
My plans for the future fill me with cheer
As I leave behind the life I once knew
But I am also filled with great despair
When I think of leaving LaSalle behind
I am grateful for the love, faith, and care
That LaSalle has enabled me to find
I have learned that although life must go on
LaSalle is here, even when I am gone
