Holy Brother
Born from a loving and graceful mother
Comes a glorious son from her soft womb.
A beloved friend and a loyal brother,
So soon for him to lay now in his tomb.
The summer day for when he past away,
Blue birds were singing in the summer sky.
Although his body lays, his spirit stays,
A single tear runs from his mother's eye.
As the angels cry for death has spoken,
Leaving nothing but his spirit and soul.
Now leaves the family heart-broken,
The fam'ly remains with a empty hole.
Holy brother, who was my lovely friend.
Holy brother, meet me when my life ends.
This was my attempt recovery for a sonnet I made after the death of my brother, which I made for 9th grade but I lost the orginal. If I find it, if ever, I will try to reupload it. But for now, this is all I could recover of the poem. Enjoy.
