He Is The One
He left, move on they said.
But I can’t I love him I replied.
Everyday every night oh, the tears I shed,
Because I dreamt of one day being his bride.
Is it wrong to miss him?
But he hurt you.
Since he left I’ve felt ever so dim.
But for him my love grew.
Today I should move on,
But today is almost gone.
How about tomorrow?
But you’ll live the rest of the day in sorrow.
Eventually, I say,
But it won’t be today.
Oath after oath I promised you
But even after you broke them, I can’t
Never will I break my promises to you.
But on and on I rant.
Every day I wake up loving you,
But every night I go to sleep with one final pant.
