Admiration From Afar
Looking upon her from a distance far,
Faith gained in a chance to see her soon.
Wrote songs about her on guitar,
Anxiously waiting for the month of June.
As time gets closer I lose sleep,
Feeling as though my life is at a halt.
This idea may be taking a huge leap,
But if it all goes well this could exalt
It’s hard to explain how I feel right now.
This feeling goes very far back in time.
Some day I hope to give her my vow.
To pass on this would be a crime.
I’m hoping I can end this stormy weather,
And the two of us can be together.
