Dance Floor
I glanced across the dance floor,
you were the one that caught my eye.
As I glide toward the handsome guy before me,
you’re not the one I thought you were.
You do not dance, and simply stand waiting.
I noticed you but it’s like I’m not even there.
So I go back to my friends in the corner,
I just shake that feeling away.
You spot me and leave,
like I wouldn’t notice you walking away.
When I turn around who do I see,
you before me. Wanna dance?
He was just not one to dance alone
a feeling that I share.
