Love in Ink
Love in Ink
My love for you in work through words like silk;
Yeah sweetie, in ink and paper I live,
With you though dear I thrive, god blesses ilk.
And I know I'm not alone, two hearts give.
One hundred miles split, but our smiles stuck still,
I'll grind, you'll dig, while lonesome stings our veins,
Two of hearts, king and queen, hands wanting fill,
But distance overcome, we've slain straining chains
Because hope in love has lent angel wings,
A Christmas miracle every day, life
After trial, gifted sweet litle things
Fire flies by twilight, brave husband, sweet wife,
Whispers in glistening eyes, stars soft light,
Worn fingers laced, and everything's alright.
