High School vs. College
High school was so much different than what I thought
The building was bigger and the classes were smaller,
The boys thought they were all super hott,
When it turns out they were just a bit taller.
I used to have this image in my head,
That while in high school I would make all these friends
But all I wanted to do was hide under my bed
All I can think about was wishing those day would end.
I have this idea that college is where I would bloom,
And that I would find a place to fit belong.
I just want to stay out of the wallflower cocoon
College is a fresh start, what I’ve wanted all along.
Now I can’t wait for my day to start
I just hope the joy I find here fills my heart.
