Why does man count down the days,
the moments that should be clung to.
Wandering in a summertime haze,
looking to the future for a better view.
Live not for tomorrow's false promises.
Live for today's precious moments.
Future and disappointment are true accomplices.
The gift of the present is the one to be chosen.
Do not become uneasy or doubtful,
life will not cease to your command.
There is no need to seek council.
Don't waste time next to an hourglass filled with sand,
when it is time to flip,
you will lose your grip.
