Can it be Saved?
You step, you fall, you hit the ground
There is no sorrow to be shed
There is no light to be found
You are scarred, you have bled
You are in an abyss without walls
There's a shadow that dwells among your feet
There's no choice to make among different halls
You are your evil, can you beat
You sacrifice and set a flame
There the darkness is your friend
There you feel complete and utter shame
You are broken, you cannot mend
You know it all, you know the pain
There you give your heart and mind
There you know you shall never gain
You come to realize there's nothing to find
You whisper to the world a single tear
There it goes to the soul to be engraved
There it will silently rest with all its fears
You ask before your gone, can it be saved?

To love is to be vulnerable; Triumph is born out of struggle; We notice shadows most when they stand alone in the midst of overwhelming light.
