You Song
It’s not always about you.
You tell me things that happen to not be true.
I was with you, you were with me.
But now you’re all alone and you won’t let me be.
You hit up my line, you say that I’m fine, and you want to be mine.
But I just don’t feel the same.
I sit on my bed and go down memory lane.
Wondering if it was me who was on games.
I said that I loved you but fingers crossed in my pocket.
You said that you loved me and kept my heart in a locket.
I’m still thinking.
Dripping tears out my eyes while winking.
Now that I think back.
He was the one who kept me on track.
I call him back up.
My feelings just erupt.
But he told me he was done.
He said he has a new relationship that has begun.
A bullet went through my chest.
This is all just a mess.
I guess it’s time to move on.
This was the last verse to my you song.
