My Never Failing Cure
With eyes that shine brighter than all the stars
My demons stir in their house of bright light
But you can see past all my ugly scars
To the place where my soul and demons fight
All you say to me are these gentle words
That beg my soul to win, so sweet and pure
And your voice sounds like those sweet singing birds
My soul says you're my never failing cure.
My soul has won and now that i can see
I what what it was that you found
That made you believe that you could save me
Though I wish to ask, I can't make a sound
Then you scoop me up and warm my cold heart
Making me hope that we will never part.
