Winter Despair
On the first hour, all feels alright
But it is only because the danger is far out of sight
The desperate need for warmth is overrun with feelings of hunger
Your mind at this point has no more wonder
Try to imagine happier times, filled with laughter and love
But the memories slip away like a newly freed dove
Only your frost-bitten hands remain to curse your life
This is the only kind of strife you will ever know
Winter Despair
