She sat and waited, air filled with abundance
Latent her fear of becoming askew
And staring into the sky, she began her repentance
A bundle of sins, dismayed by a few

The tears from her face, a pool of regret
She sits within her blackened confining
And so come the words she’ll never forget
His wisdom and righteousness intertwining

The words slipped out, forever released
Her guilt now floods her most treasured gate
Can’t take them back, so she drowns in unease
A hearts broken vow to delivers her fate

And among those few was her helpless thrive
That caused her to curse the man she derived


The author's comments:
This piece is a description of what happens when you lose hope in god and it leads you to sin. it is a description of the broken prayer that follows the act of sin. a mixture of regret and desperateness.
