a part of my rainbow- A Love Lost
your hand in mine, we walk together,
words spoken, of soft lips.
you said your vows, we are now forever,
by my side to help when i slip.
no sound is heard, out love is locked,
your hand brushes against my cheek,
painting a picture, lightning shocked.
capturing my heart at mountains peak.
Your light illuminates the room,
fading away as you leave me.
all swept away by sweep of broom,
i weep with my head against my knees.
when you die you will not be forgotten,
even if our love was drowned in natures fountain.
