Baby the Truck
He knows the tricks and he knows them well
Says you just have to baby that old truck
Gripping the wheel that truck might start with luck
It would be hard to see that truck sell
It is truly rare to get him to yell
But with too many wrong steps you can cause havoc
He’s made mostly of pride and a little pluck
Deep in his heart he has a soul of a rebel
In his opinion mud ain’t hurt anyone
Eyes like water give away what he feels
Short of patience but don’t question his devotion
Never is happy until he has won
Always sings to the radio with a sort of zeal
He just babies that big beat-up old truck
