The Love We Hate
I hate you more than words can ever explain.
My dreams have fled, my hopes have died for you
Your laugh, your eyes, your face its all so plain
I thought one day that I would get the clue
You are the one that means the most to me
No matter the things you do I love you
My love for you is stronger than an army
The love we share is always an issue.
I feel like I have known you forever
Our secrets we share, our unanswered prayers
That long hot day when we meet that summer
Nothing that wonderful will ever compare
Nothing can ever stand against us as two.
But I hate the way that I don’t hate you
